Student/Staff ID Cards
The student or staff picture ID card is your library card and required:
- to check out library materials including reserve materials and reserve materials, even those for use in the library only
- to authenticate through the proxy server to use our online databases
- to use "AskMN" a 24/7 reference service
- to have active status to be usable
Distance/concurrent students. During the second week of the semester, Riverland will begin making and sending ID cards for student with distance designation. If you do not receive a card please follow the instructions below:
- please send an email message from your Riverland email account to the Library
- include your full name, home address and student identification number
- library barcode number will be sent via email
- library will respond to requests only during open hours
- card will be mailed to the supplied address
Other card information:
- cards are made during student services schduled hours -- check student buzz
- can be obtained free of charge from the student services centers in all three campus locations
- are renewed each semester a patron registers for classes
- library number appears on backside of card, begins with 20207
- library password is your last name
The status of the card can be checked by logging into "my account" in the Riverland Catalog. If you are unable to log into your account, contact the library. |
