American Library Association Copyright Advisory Network:
A site designed for librarians, it contain information about books, periodicals, a public domain checklist, fair use and the TEACH Act.

Persistent Links from Library Databases:
Persistent links are used to allow students to access journal and newspaper articles by clicking on a link that will take them directly to the article. These persistent links can be used in documents, power point presentations or in D2L. Persistent links are also used on our Course Quickstart pages.

Choose database
Authenticate (if off campus)
Search for the appropriate article
Make sure the article you choose has full text available
In the document view looks for the 'document URL' bottom of page
Copy the entire URL (will be lengthy)
Paste the URL into the chosen document or link creator in D2L

Access Riverland Library
Choose database
Authenticate (if off campus)
Search for the appropriate article
Make sure the article you choose has full text available
In the document view looks for the 'persistent link to this record'
Copy the entire URL (will be lengthy)

Search for an ebook
Display single record
Copy URL labeled 'Electronic Link'

In the document view click on 'email jumpstart' -- this should appear just below the cover picture on right side of page

In the report view, go to the last page of the report
