Link Manager

The purpose of the link manager is to determine whether a magazine, journal or newspaper is available in one of the Riverland Community College Library full text databases or on the web. This can be done in two ways, either by using the link on an indexed article found in a database search or by creating a citation search in the the link manager software.

To use the link from an article indexed in a database:
*do a database search
*on the results screen
*click on 'check for full text'
In some databases the link will go directly to link manager. In other databases the link will go to the citation screen and where there will be another link. Look carefully at the screens for the 'full text' link.

Accessing the link manager software directly allows the user to search for specific citations or search by subject catagory.

The Riverland Community College Interlibrary Loan link enables a request if full text cannot be found.
