About the Library
Videos & Other Nonprint
Videos, Audio Books, Etc. Albert Lea and Austin libraries
have collections for nonprint materials in our libraries. These include videos,
audio books and CDýs. Neither library has a collection of music on CD or tape or
popular movies.
Our nonprint collections can be searched in the online catalog
for either Albert Lea Austin or both libraries.
Use the drop down box under 'Library to search':
- choose the DVDs, Videos & Audios collection
- choose the type of keyword search, i.e. ýanywhere in
recordý, ýsubject,ý etc.
- enter the search term(s)
- search results will also show all types of nonprint
material available in our libraries
When searching for videos or other single types:
- click on 'Advanced Search'
- choose the type of keyword search, i.e. ýanywhere in
recordý, ýsubject,ý etc.
- enter the search term(s)
- click on the drop down box 'format'
- choose your format
- results will match the parameters of your search
- results can be limited to specific library by using
'Library' drop down box
Other information about nonprint materials:
- students can checkout video tapes for 3 days and and
audio books for 14 days
- items can be renewed
- fines are charged on overdue items
- patrons should be aware that the collections in each of
the libraries are different
- videos or audio books can be sent to any of the 3
campuses for use
