Laptop Orientations

All students enrolled in a laptop program or course requiring a laptop are required to participate in one orientation session per school year. The orientation session is designed to provide students with an introduction to the laptop computer and the College's network. Topics discussed include network access, maintenance, care, security, insurance, course management software, and e-mail. Laptop orientation registration is done the same as registering for any other class through the College's website. If this is the first time for leasing a laptop, you should register for a first-year orientation. If you have leased a laptop previously, you should register for a second-year orientation. Students wishing to take a laptop with them after orientation should bring a payment receipt or deferment for the laptop lease fee and their Riverland Student ID to orientation.
