The Riverland Community College Foundation is kicking off a new campaign called One Ten BY Twenty Ten. This goal of this campaign is to annually award at least $110,000 in scholarships and program support by the year 2010.

During the 2004-05 academic year, the Foundation awarded $70,000 in scholarships and program support. To reach the $110,000 distribution goal by the year 2010, we estimate we will increase our distribution by $7,000 each year. In other words, our goal, with the help of the public and fundraising efforts, is to distribute approximately $77,000 in scholarships and program support in 2005-06.

The Foundation is also working toward building a fund balance of $1,000,000. At fiscal year end for 2005, the fund balance was close to $700,000.

Through annual fundraising campaign, continued outreach to community and business supporters and cultivating our alumni for support and continued fiscal responsibility, we will meet our campaign goal.
