Riverland honors employee years of service

Riverland Community College honored current and outgoing employees at the College’s annual Riverland Awards and Recognition Ceremony May 20 at the Riverland Austin Campus West Building. Riverland employees gathered in tribute of this year’s retirees and also acknowledged Riverland employees for special achievements and milestone years of service.

The following employees were recognized for their years of service:

One-year Awards: Janice Blanchard, Roberta Czaplewski, Kristin Flatness, Suzy Hebrink, Sophronis Mantoles, Chris Marquardt, Shawn Martin, Terry Pelovsky, Debbie Sauke, BJ Witts.

Five-year Awards: Rich Bauer, Kelly Downey, Beth Fondell, Jack LaValla, Shirley Nelson, Ken Quinn, Shane Wrede.

Ten-year Awards: Tom Anderson, Dennis Buker, Kevin Lobb, John Merchlewitz, Renee Njos, Sandy Roe, Jim Schneider, Jackie Skilling, Al Wesely, Tricia Whalen.

Fifteen-year Awards: Carrie Allen, Rhonda Besel, Nancy Christopherson, Dan Miller, Shawn O’Connor, Jeanne Poppe, Karen Richter, Karen Vanderploeg, Steven Vietor.

Twenty-year Awards: Walt Alms, Richard Andree, Donna Bhend, Kim Hansen, Dan Harber, Jill Holmes, David Lillemon, Roger Panzer, Carolyn Veldman, Dan Wirkus.

Twenty-five-year Awards: Abu Amin, Judy Enright, Wayne Pike, Kay Zahradnik

Thirty-year Awards: Susan Grove, Judy Robeck.
