Riverland Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs Dr. Ron Langrell has been appointed to the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Academic and Student Affairs Policy Council. Langrell joins 20 representatives of various constituents in the state system. 

The Academic and Student Affairs Policy Council provides constituent advice and consultation on proposed Board of Trustees academic and student affairs policies and Chancellor’s procedures.

Langrell holds a Ph.D. in higher education administration from Florida State University. He earned a post-master’s degree in vocational teacher education, a master’s degree in guidance and counseling, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Idaho. Langrell was most recently vice president of instruction – chief workforce development officer at Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) in Walla Walla, Washington.
