Riverland Community College Physical Plant Manager Judy Enright recently graduated from the APPA's Institute for Facilities Management. The Institute for Facilities Management is APPA's premier educational program. Designed as a four-track course of study, the Institute is held twice yearly and includes core programming in general administration, maintenance and operations, energy and utilities, and planning, design and construction.
Founded in 1914, APPA, the Association of Higher Education Facilities Officers, is an international association dedicated to maintaining, protecting, and promoting the quality of educational facilities. APPA serves and assists facilities officers and physical plant administrators in colleges, universities, and other educational institutions throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and other countries worldwide. They promote excellence in the administration, care, operations, planning, and construction of educational facilities. APPA serves the entire education community by conducting research and educational programs, producing publications, developing guidelines, and serving as a central information source for its members. |
