Riverland Community College honored retiring and current employees and Emeritus Faculty inductees at the College’s annual Riverland Awards and Recognition Ceremony May 11 at the Austin Holiday Inn.

The following Riverland employees were acknowledged for milestone years of service. 

Rookie (one year) Awards: John Carlson, Beth Fondell, Edward Kirsch, Rex Quam, Darwin Peterson, Vennie White.

Five-year Awards: Sherry Chesek, Gene Frank, Kristine Hanson, Barb Houle, David Marr, Darwin Peterson, Angelica Schaper, Jonathan Sunde.

Ten-year Awards: Richard Campbell, Allan Henslin, Monica McBee, Michael Rand, Peter Scheffert.

Fifteen-year Awards: Mindi Askelson, Tom Enfield, Todd Fjeldberg, Howard Kittleson, Page Petersen, Lora Low, Tom Slack, Kathy Spinler, Brian Staska, Gerry Steene, Peggy Young.

Twenty-year Awards: Kathy Buker, Cindy Enfield, Beth Hackenmiller, Mary Jemming, Gary Peterson, Celeste Ruble, Pamela Tranby.
