Cosmetology staff attend national conference

Riverland Community College Cosmetology Instructors Pam Selmecki, Janelle Unverzagt, Rhonda Besel and Lab Assistant Pauline Kohnke attended “Reality Beauty and Business Symposium” held January 15-16, 2006 in Orlando, Florida.

The conference featured the latest hair fashion trends demonstrated by world renowned, international-award-winning Canadian hair stylist Wayne Grund and his international team. The symposium also featured the latest scientific technology in hair repair, styling, straightening and hair lightening products all formulated by one of the world’s most respected cosmetic scientists, Dr. Lee Hunter. The Grund International Business team of Wayne Grund, Wayne and Gloria Harding, Darlene Eyering, Julie Eischens and Erin Laakko presented the ultimate in customer service systems to maximize the clients’ salon experience.
