national organization the Alliance for Quality Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (known as the "Alliance"), for a fourth one-year term. Frank will serve on the Alliance committee the Association of Educators in Imaging and Radiological Sciences (AEIRS). This group is sponsoring the RadCARE bill (S. 2322) in both the Senate and House. This bill establishes minimum educational and credentialing standards for radiologic technologists, radiation therapists and medical physicists.
Frank worked at Mayo Clinic for 31 years before retiring in 2001. For 21 of those years he served as director of the radiography program in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Frank has worked as the director of the Riverland radiography program for five years. He is the author of four radiography textbooks and currently serves on several national committees. |
