Placement Opportunities offers organizations a resource for recruiting candidates to fill open positions. With Placement Opportunities your organization will establish an employer profile in addition to submitting and managing your job listings. Students or other potential employees can view job listings on the Riverland site by browsing to Placement Opportunities from the Student Services page.
Establishing a Profile Start Now
If you have not yet established an employer profile, this will be your first step. You will only need to establish a profile once although you can update it at any time as needed. To establish a profile, click "Start Now" and follow the step by step instructions provided.
Job Listings Post Job Information
You begin posting positions from the main menu by clicking on the "Post Job Information" link. From the "Manage Your Postings" page you will be able to add, edit and delete postings. When entering new job postings you will see text fields for including a job description and special skills. If you have this information in another text program you can copy and paste information into these text fields. After submitting job listings they will be reviewed and then posted to the site. Jobs will be posted by category.
To edit an existing listing from the "Manage Your Postings" page, click on the Job Title heading. After making changes click the "next" button to process your changes. You will then be offered an opportunity to review the updated information and either go back to make other changes or click the "Save Changes" button to complete the update.
