ROCHESTER — The record remains perfect for the Riverland men's soccer team after a 6-3 win Tuesday night over Crossroads College.

Playing on the artificial surface at the Rochester Community and Technical College Field, it was a high-scoring first half between the two teams. The visiting Riverland Blue Devils held a 4-2 lead at halftime.

Although the Riverland men put pressure on the net from out at the top and attacked from the wings, the offense of Crossroads College scored the first goal of the game on a free kick.

Riverland answered with an unassisted goal a few minutes later from Pedro Herrera and tied the game. Crossroads came right back and scored another goal from a free kick to take a 2-1 lead.
