The Riverland Community College baseball team picked up a pair of shutout wins over Western Wisconsin Tech at Seltz Field Friday.
The No. 7 nationally ranked Blue Devils (19-3 overall) took the first game 16-0 and prevailed 7-0 in the nightcap.
“I’m very happy with how we played today,” RCC head coach Scott Koneigs said.
Two Southland grads had a big impact in the first game as Brian Voigt had five RBIs and belted his seventh home run of the season and Winston Smith went 3-for-3 with a double and a triple.
In the second game, Tyler Jones of Rapid City scattered nine singles in a shutout win.
