Riverland Community College provides quality athletic programs for men and women. A variety of intercollegiate programs are sponsored throughout the year,

 

 Athletes of the Year

Jace Klinkner -  freshman from Woodbury High School.  Jace earned 1st team All Division, MCAC All- State and 1st team  All Region 13 honors.  He led the Blue Devils to a record setting 22 wins in the men’s basketball season.  Jace was MCAC “player of the week” five times during the season.  He averaged 20.6 points per game, shot 49%$ from the field, shot 90% from the foul line, and scored 30 or more points four times and scored 20 or more points in 14 games. 

Kassi Hardies  -  Sophomore  from Albert Lea.    Two sport athlete.  Volleyball and softball.  In softball she played 3rd base, catcher and shortstop.  Hit .350 as a freshman.  In Volleyball, she was 2nd team All Division as a freshman.  As a sophomore, she earned 1st team All-Division, MCAC All State, and 1st team All Region.  Her overall GPA was a 3.57.  She plans to attend U of M Duluth in the fall  to study finance.
