2005 Inductee Laura Lukes-Probst

Basketball (1985 - 87)

Laura Lukes Probst graduated from Austin Pacelli in 1985 with many outstanding credentials. She was five time KAUS Athlete of the Week, Hiawatha Valley All-Conference her sophomore, junior and senior year, MVP at Pacelli High School three consecutive years from 1982-85, Minnesota All Star team her senior year and in the season of 1984-85 she passed the 1000 point mark in basketball. Laura currently is a member of the Pacelli Hall of Fame.

Lukes Probst went on to Austin Community College and an incredible two year career. As a freshman she led her team to a 14-9 mark scoring 485 points (22.0 ppg) and at that time became the all time scoring single season scorer. She led her team to the Division Championship and 5th in the State while earning All-Conference , All-State, and All-Region XIII honors. In 1886-87, her team wasn't quite as successful but she earned All-Conference and All-State awards again while averaging 17.6 points per game. Laura is currently the second all time leading scorer in history at Riverland Community College with 816 points.

Laura graduated from ACC and went on to earn a degree in Human Resources Management at Winona State University. She currently resides in Chanhassen, Minnesota and her family consists of a 6 year old daughter Jessica, sisters Amy and Kathy and brother-Tim; her mother Dorothy Lukes and Robert her father.
