Season Summary
Weekly Summary September 1, 2008
Riverland volleyball had a busy week playing four non-conference matches. We started out in Owatonna, MN, playing Pillsbury Baptist Bible College on August 26. It was a nice way to open our season with a win in three games. Friday night we hosted Gogebic Community College and won in three. Saturday was the Riverland Invitational which began at 10:00 AM. Riverland added to their win column beating Western Technical College and Gogebic for an overall record of 4 wins and 0 losses. Wednesday, September 3rd, we will begin conference play by hosting the number two team in the nation 2007, Ridgewater College. I am looking forward to the competition as it will be a true test of our ability. I hope to see you there.
