Earn a degree or certificate by attending classes at Century College, Riverland Community College or Rochester Community & Technical College via ITV.

The demand for qualified interpreters grows every day as our communities continue to diversify.

The Language Translating and Interpreting Program is designed to educate bilingual students who wish to develop professional interpreting skills and prepare for careers in our increasingly diverse communities. Students will be trained to work in a variety of settings, including, health care facilities, social services, and educational and legal settings. Our program is especially well suited for students who have previous related work experience who strive to provide accurate, impartial, culturally-competent interpretations and wish to improve their skills.

Two programs are available:

  • Translating and Interpreting Certificate - 30 credits
  • Translating and Interpreting Associate in Applied Science Degree (AAS) - 60 credits
