(Pre-Medicine, Pre-Dentistry, Pre-Veterinary Medicine, Pre-Optometry) The pre-professional health career transfer plan is designed for students who wish to receive a four-year degree prior to entering medical, dental, or veterinary school. The degree need not to be in a science field but required basic science courses must be included. The college provides the first two years of the baccalaureate programs for the pre-professional health career programs. The student must meet Riverland Community College Associate in Arts Degree requirements and should examine the catalog of the transfer institution to determine specific major requirements.
