Program Transfer Guides
Pre-Pharmacy
The pre-pharmacy transfer plan is to prepare students to transfer to a college or university with the intent of majoring in pharmacy. The pharmacist of the future will advise both physicians and patients about prescribing medicines, monitoring adverse drug effects, consult with physicians about prescribing and dispensing procedures, as well as advising members of the public about over-the-counter medicines. The student must meet Riverland Community College Associate in Arts Degree requirements and should examine the catalog of the transfer institution to determine specific major requirements. |
