Music

The music transfer plan is to prepare students to transfer to a college or university with the intent of majoring in music. The program is designed for music majors, as well as non-majors, who wish to participate in various music groups. Students planning to major in music should prepare to have extensive experience in performance with high school and college-level groups and/or as a soloist and should possess basic music reading ability or be prepared to take the necessary courses to obtain the skill. The student must meet Riverland Community College Associate in Arts Degree requirements and should examine the catalog of the transfer institution to determine specific major requirements.
