History

The history transfer plan is designed to prepare students for advanced study with a wide background, knowledge and understanding of past human experiences. Through the study of the past, we gain a sense and perspective on the world in which we live and on ourselves in modern society. The History transfer plan is designed to prepare students to transfer to a college or university with the intent of majoring in History. The student must meet Riverland Community College Associate in Arts Degree requirements and should examine the catalog of the transfer institution to determine specific major requirements.
