Riverland Community College acts as a liaison with the Veterans? Administration for individuals
who wish to utilize their veteran's benefits. Forms to apply for veteran education benefits
may be obtained by contacting the registrar at Riverland or apply online at www.gibill.va.gov. Applications should be completed 8-10 weeks prior to the term for which
benefits are requested.
Basic information about educational benefits programs administered by the US Dept of Veteran
Affairs is found online at www.gibill.va.gov by selecting Education Benefits. You may also
call 1-888-442-4551 and speak with a representative.
Eligible persons are reminded that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs will not pay benefits
for repeated or audited courses. In addition, benefits for short courses--those that do not
meet for the entire term--will be paid for only the days that the class meets. |
