Representatives

Steve Bowron serves as the Dean of Career and Technical Education and the Albert Lea Campus.  He and his staff and faculty are committed to providing skilled, educated graduates to help meet SE Minnesota workforce development needs.

His responsibilities as Dean include the supervision of the Career and Technical Education faculty along with managing the day-to-day operation of the CTE division.  Steve also serves as the Albert Lea Campus Dean and oversees the day-to-day operation of the Albert Lea campus.  Steve is a member of the Riverland Community College Administrative Council, Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs Leadership Team, Technology Round Table, and the Riverland Foundation Board.

Steve is a graduate of St. Cloud State University with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a minor in Criminal Justice.  He has spent the past 20 years with Riverland Community College in a variety of capacities including the Dean of Training and Development, Director of Marketing and Placement, and adjunct instructor for the Supervisory Management program.
