Representatives

Peggy Young has been with Riverland Community College since 1991 and joined the Riverland Training and Development team in 2008.  Her focus is on community outreach programs, including Kids’ College, Riverland Generations, and Community Leadership programs in Austin, Albert Lea and Owatonna.  Peggy also serves as the Extended Learning Project Specialist, with focus on curriculum enhancement and extended learning initiatives. 

Peggy graduated from Riverland Community College with an Associate in Arts Degree; she then continued her education and graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor of Science degree. She also holds a Minnesota Real Estate Salesperson license.  She is deeply involved in the community, being a long-standing Board member of the Austin Jaycees, the Mower County United Way, the March of Dimes, and other Chamber of Commerce committees.
