"Get your motor running. Head out on the highway. Looking for adventure. In whatever comes my way." A beautiful day brought 41 motorcyclists, 19 bicyclists and more than 10 non-riders to the 2nd Annual BOSS ride. A combination of participant fees, silent auction, ticket sales and pledge dollars received brought in more than three times what was raised at last year's premiere of the event. It is estimated that six scholarships will be awarded with this year's BOSS funds. Congratulations to Ron Wangen who brought in more than $1,000 in prizes and pledges. Ron won the prize for Motorcyclist who brought in the most pledge dollars. Al Bush was second with $600 in pledges. Doug Parr brought in $250 in pledges and received the prize for Bicyclist who brought in the most pledge dollars. Thank you to the many people who participated in the ride. You are truly BIKERS of STUDENT SUCCESS! |

This year's motorcyclists started the BOSS ride from the Austin Campus. This year's BOSS ride featured a route for bicyclists as well.
