Riverland Community College will host a series of "New Directions" workshops to assist employees who have been laid off from a job, are looking for a new career or need additional training to advance in their current field.
?New Directions? is a free session at which participants can explore ?hot jobs? opportunities in southeast Minnesota and learn about short-term training opportunities available to help secure these jobs. Participants will also learn how to finance their training/education and discover methods to balance school, family and work.
Sessions begin at 6 p.m. and are available at all three Riverland locations.
