A fundraiser for Riverland Community College students

The 2009 Doherty Scholarship Golf Classic, held on June 15, 2009 at the Owatonna Country Club, raised $13,054 for scholarships for Riverland students.   72 golfers participated in this year’s golf event.  Doherty Staffing Solutions sponsored the golf classic, with Viracon being a double eagle sponsor.  Other significant sponsors included Career Builder, Essential Staff Care, Gopher Sport, Insurance Applications Group, Owatonna Clinic, Owatonna Hospital, and Southpark Lanes.  Tee sponsors for the tournament included El Tequila, Innovance, Plaza Morena, Riverland Community College, and SPX.
