Description |
Priority task: Staffing office during supervisor's absence. Answer phones, greet guests, and respond as appropriate. Typically involves receiving payment and writing receipts, signing up guests for events and answering questions. Other tasks may include: data entry, bank deposits, invoices, open facility for business (turn on lights, unlock doors, etc.), make copies and or fold/insert printed materials, prepare mailings, routine cleaning, organizing files, tracking stock, laundry, making phone calls to volunteers and others as needed, conduct guided tours, internet research, etc. |
Skills |
Friendly, pleasant, independent, detail oriented, some computer skills. Weekdays are negotiable and flexible around class schedule. |
How to Apply |
If you have Work Study Eligiblity shown on your Award Letter, you would contact the Supervisor that is listed for the position you are interested in. Once you have been hired, you would go to the Financial Aid Office to pick up the Employment Agreement packet with the required documents for you to begin working. Complete the Employment Agreement packet with your supervisor and return it to the Financial Aid Office. When you return it to the Financial Aid Office, you will receive two time sheets to start working. You will also receive a Pay Schedule showing when time sheets are due to the Financial Aid Office by your Supervisor and when you get paid for those hours.
If Work Study Eligibility was not listed on your Award Letter and you are interested in working, contact the Financial Aid Office to verify your eligibility.
