At the end of each anonymous screening you will receive an immediate result that can be printed and taken to a clinician for further evaluation. A screening test is not a substitute for a complete evaluation but it can help you learn if your symptoms are consistent with depression, bipolar disorder, an anxiety disorder or post-traumatic stress disorder and how to access help. Suicide/DepressionSAVE maintains the position that depression can be successfully treated and suicide can be prevented. Education is a major component of our mission. The people of SAVE believe that each of us can help prevent suicide through educating ourselves and others about the symptoms of depression and the warning signs of suicide. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is a national, 24-hour, and toll-free suicide prevention service available to all those in suicidal crisis who are seeking help. Individuals seeking help can dial 1-800-273-TALK (8255). They will be routed to the closest possible provider of mental health and suicide prevention services. www.suicidepreventionlifeline.org We STRONGLY encourage you to contact a Riverland counselor via appointment, email or phone with any questions about this process or to discuss your results. |
