David enters his 25th year at Riverland Community College and overall his 34th year in athletics since 1977. At Riverland CC, Lillemon began his career in the fall of 1987. His current duties are men's and women's Athletic Director, and he also teaches in the mathematics and physical education departments. In his tenure at Riverland, he coached football for three years (1987-89), baseball for nine years ( 1987-95), the men's basketball team for 16 years (1987-2003), men's and women's golf for 14 years ( 1995-2009), and women's softball for three years (2006-09). Lillemon received his BS in Education from Minot State University (North Dakota) and his Master of Education from Mankato State University in 1984. David is married to Diane and they have two children, Kathryn (9) and Jared(7).
