Scott Koenigs begins his 6th year as Head Coach of Riverland Community College. Coach Koenigs has built the Blue Devil Baseball Program into a very competitive program year-in and year-out. The Baseball Program has become a springboard for athletes on a path to 4-year colleges. Prior to arriving at Riverland, Koenigs led GMLO High School to a conference title in his first season there. After spending 2 years as a Head Coach at the high school level, Koenigs accepted a position as Graduate Assistant Baseball Coach at the University of Kansas. Koenigs spent his two years with the Jayhawks working with the outfielders and with the hitters. Koenigs was involved in recruiting, evaluting, day-to-day practices, and game-day events at the Big 12 University.

Suzy is beginning her 9th year at Riverland Community College, where she is Head Women's Basketball coach, Physical Education Instructor and Intramural Director. In Coach Hebrink's first five years with the Blue Devils, she coached Men's and Women's Tennis where she was named Region 13 coach of the year four times. The teams made national competition nine out of ten seasons including eight men and women receiving All-American honors and a 2nd place Women's National Junior College Championship finish in 2003. Riverland no longer has tennis due to seasonal conflicts. This year Hebrink enters her 9th season as Head Women's Basketball. As a coach who always gets the most out of her players & with her best recruiting class coach Hebrink expects an exciting season on the hardcourt. Suzy completed her BS and her MA in Physical Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Coach Jahr has played competitive volleyball for 8 years both in high school and college. She began her coaching career in 1984 when she coached at Hastings High School in Hastings, MN, while finishing her Bachelors Degree at the University of Wisconsin River Falls. She then became the assistant varsity coach at Austin High School in Austin, MN. Currently Helen is a Physical Education Instructor in the Austin Catholic School system and is excited to begin her 15th year as head coach for the Blue Devils in 2008. Over the years Helen has kept busy playing competitive volleyball, running camps, clinics, open gyms, hosting tournaments and coaching club teams in the off season. She has created a winning tradition for Riverland, qualifying for the MCCC State Tournament nine of 14 years. Several Blue Devil volleyball players have been recognized within the Division, State, Region and the Nation and have gone on to play volleyball in 4 year programs. Coach Jahr looks forward to continued success.

Dan Swift - Coach Swift begins his second year at Riverland Community College with the intent on feeding off the excitement of last year (Blue Devils lost in a play-off game to qualify for the state tournament). He brings a style of play that stresses ball control and individual strengths for success. Upon completing his BS degree at Mayville State University in 2001, Dan served as the women's basketball assistant for one season, moving on to graduate school at Bemidji State University where he was the baseball assistant. From 2003-05 Coach Swift was the boy's head basketball coach in Selfridge, North Dakota. In the 2006-07 campaign, he was the men's baseball assistant and women's basketball assistant at Bismarck State College. When Dan is not on the basketball court, he also works with the admissions at Riverland Community College and teaches physical education and health courses on campus.

David is entering his 21st  year at Riverland Community College.  He currently serves as the men’s and women’s golf coach (1995-present), women’s softball coach (2007 first full season), and athletic director (1989-present).  Lillemon also served as the head football coach (1987-1989), head baseball coach (1987-1995), and head men’s basketball coach (1987-2003).  Prior to coming to Austin, he had taught and coached at four previous high schools in Montana and North Dakota. He received his BS in 1978 and in 1983 earned his Masters of Education Degree at Mankato State University while serving as an assistant for the MSU baseball team.
