• Computer Requirements
  Your computer must have JavaScript enabled to use the online application. Call Admissions if you need assistance.
• Acceptance
  Acceptance to the college does not automatically guarantee your admission into a specific program. Many programs require a separate application and selection process.
• Non-Degree Students
  If you do not plan to earn a degree, diploma or certificate from the college, you can apply as a non-degree seeking student and take up to 16 credits. Non-degree seeking students are not eligible for financial aid. If this is the option you want, select "complete courses but not a degree" under the educational intent question on the application form.
• International Students
  International Students should not use the online application. The International Student Admissions Page contains the forms and directions on how to apply. International applicants are (non-immigrants) of another country, who do not have U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or refugee/political asylum status.
• PSEO / High School Students
  Post-Secondary Education Option (PSEO) students must complete additional forms after completing the online application. The PSEO program pays for the courses and books for qualified high school juniors or seniors, or home-schooled students, who take college courses at a Riverland campus while still in high school. Click and print the Agreement of Understanding; Minnesota State PSEO Form and the PSEO Student Planning/Guidance Counselor Form or pick them up from your high school counselor. Mail the completed forms to:

Instructions for Applying Online

1. Create an account.
   When you click ?Online Application? below you will be asked to create a user account.
   We recommend you write down your user name and password for future reference.

2. Complete and submit the online application.
   You must select a major to be eligible to receive financial aid.
   If you are undecided, select ?Liberal Arts? for now and work with one of our counselors to explore your options.
3. Pay the one-time $20 application fee by accessing your e-services account.
   You may need to wait 24-48 business hours after you submit your application before you will see the charge posted to your account. If you prefer, you can mail a check or money order to the Admissions department. Be sure to include your name, telephone number and date you applied with your payment.
4. Login to your account periodically to check the status of your application.
   When your application is accepted, we will mail you an acceptance letter outlining your steps to register.
