Responsibilities: Instructors are needed to teach the following specific topics:

mobile hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, D.C. electrical systems mechanical fundamentals, diesel engine programing, renewable fuels, and welding.

Qualifications: The minimum educationl requirement for career, technical and professional credential fields shall be based on established industry standards and accepted higher education standards.

177601 Industrial Equipment Maintenance & Service

Educational Subsitutions Bachelor or above degree in appropriate major and 4000 hours of occupational experience or Associate degree or two year diploma (90 quarter credits) in appropriate field and 6000 hours of occupational experience or One year diploma in appropriate field and 7000 hours of occupational experience or Courses for credit or clock hours (1 quarter credit/20 hours or 1 semester credit/30 hours) with an appropriate title or prefix and occupational hours totaling 8000.

Occupational Experience Requirement 8000 hours of occupational experience in the repair of industrial equipment such as machine shop and millwright. Maintenance mechanics repair of engines used in industry

010300 Agriculture Equipment Mechanics

Education Requirement Bachelor or above degree in agriculture: education, mechanization or engineering or technical agriculture and 4000 hours of occupational experience or Two years post-secondary mechanics education in agricultural equipment, truck diesel or heavy equipment and 6000 hours of occupational experience.

Occupational Experience Requirement Experience as an agriculture equipment mechanic and/or block person in a dealership.

Recency Requirement One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.

Other Considerations: Preferred qualifications include prior teaching experience, curriculum development skills and ability to qualify for credentials in industrial equipment maintenance and service and/or agricultural equpment mechanics.
